Oh my… I don’t know what to say… At least Lorissa’s thief had the good sense to pretty much leave her design intact.

I suppose I’ll be going through the same process Lorissa did to have the content taken down. The dipshit is linking directly to my images and he’s hijacked my RSS Feed as well. Anyway, hat tip to Jon Norris from OnWired for the link to Copyscape, I had no idea such a service existed.
Update: The site was taken down and an apology was given. He told me it was “just for testing” though I don’t believe that for a second but hey, I’m cynical.

Oh nooooes!
Great work on the redesign, by the way. I really admire your work. (Not enough to steal it outright, though!)

Argh, how annoying, and what nerve! Looks like they pulled this down pretty quick.
Thanks for the CopyScape link as well. A good resource to have.

Hey Jen,
Good to see our travails were of use to somebody else! Design theft is no fun, but at least your pirate didn’t dig his heels in and claim totally original authorship!… glad to see it worked out.

Nathan, actually your article and site both have been helpful. I’m one of those people who have been looking at code and images of your site to see how you accomplish certain things. Of course, as it was stated in the post, that’s quite different than stealing a design outright; in my opinion I’m just stealing your knowledge and adding to my own.
So, thanks!
