And you're right about political candidates and Apple products. One other you left out though is IE vs. FF. ;) @ Brad: I doubt it was done on purpose either but when I worked at PETA and we did any types of design, there’s no way that would have slipped past.

Then ask yourself, "With a name like that, who is Jen likely to support?" Once you've gone through the logical thinking process and put two and two together. Calm the fuck down. ;) Just because I pointed out this foible doesn't mean I'm trying to put down your candidate. I'm just pointing out something that eventually, someone else will point out and probably won't write about it from a design viewpoint. @ Francis: Before attacking me because of your strongly held political beliefs, take a moment to consider the name of my company. I'm sure the designer of this mark, who works within the walls of the Obama campaign decided to secretly design in "bad men" to undercut everything he has devoted his life to. Thats a logical train of thought. The Disney subliminal design treatments were done specifically for the reason of appealing to the sense of inner-sexuality in order to sell (which in and of itself is misguided and rather sad). Disney is also famous for sneaking in sexual messages within their animations .. but this is a process that involves many hours, many animators and thus, occasionally you see animators attempting to rebel against their overbearing management without sacrificing a paycheck. Please think these things through before you start posting them .. you really only make yourself look silly. yes … I’m sure the designer of this mark, who works within the walls of the Obama campaign decided to secretly design in “bad men” to undercut everything he has devoted his life to. I highly doubt it was done on purpose, probably just rushed on to the site quickly and nobody noticed it. Regarding Francis' comment: There are a couple things that you can't write about online with out the devoted getting mad, that includes political candidates and Apple products. And I'd like to point out that 1, I'm an American and read left to right and 2, I did take in the information that led me to highlight those letters. That's like saying whomever noticed the penis of the original "Little Mermaid" design didn't really see it. That's why the company reprinted all the materials that it was incorporated in. Sometimes designers hide things in their work. Did the person who designed this do the same? Were you the designer? I don’t understand your “nice try” statement. Americans read left to right, and even the fact that the names are in different colors forces the eye to read them in chunks. Nice try though. ummm … well luckily there isn’t a soul on earth who ever takes in information in the way you highlighted those letters.
